When was the last time you conducted a search on Google? If you head to their page now, you’ll see that the company has automatically turned on background themes as a default choice.
Don’t worry, they are automatic for a while only and will return back to an optional choice after 24 hours according to Google. The move is an attempt to draw attention to their background features, as many users may not know that there is an option to change the background from that plain white one.
If you head to the page in the bottom left-hand corner, you’ll see that there is a wide variety of backgrounds to choose from – which one do you like best?
I have to say I had no idea about Google Backgrounds. It definitely adds a bit of life into the Google homepage anyway. Do you prefer custom background themes or not?
Tipe of Google’s background image:
1. Leaves, grass or trees – The green color is considered one of the most relaxing colors for the eyes, causing less eyestrain.
2. Landscapes – Especially now that the holidays are close, a background with your favorite vacation destination will keep you optimistic and relaxed
3. Loved ones – Google’s default search page can now become your digital photo frame, where you can display photos of your family, friends, or even pets.
4. Celebrities – Your favorite movie stars, like Megan Fox or Robert Downey Jr., will be proud to be featured on your Google page. Even politicians can find a place here, president Obama being a prime choice.
5. Art – Reproductions of famous painting can stylishly decorate your workspace, and the selection is more than diverse

The secret about cancer and howto treatment cancer.
The secret about cancer, never you hear theat true about your health and diet.
The science is clear. The results are unmistakable.
Change your diet and dramatically reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
Respected nutrition and health researcher, Dr. T. Colin Campbell reveals the truth behind special interest groups, government entities and scientists that have taken Americans down a deadly path
Even today, as the low-carb craze sweeps the nation, two-thirds of adults are still obese and children are being diagnosed with Type II diabetes, typically an “adult” disease, at an alarming rate. If we’re eating healthier, why are Americans stricken with heart disease as much as we were 30 years ago?
Drawing on the project findings in rural China, but going far beyond those findings, The China Study details the connection between nutrition and heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The report also examines the source of nutritional confusion produced by powerful lobbies, government entities, and opportunistic scientists. The New York Times has recognized the study (China-Oxford-Cornell Diet and Health Project) as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology” and the “most comprehensive large study ever undertaken of the relationship between diet and the risk of developing disease.”
“After a long career in research and policy-making, I have decided to step ‘out of the system.’ I have decided to disclose why Americans are so confused,” said Dr. Campbell. “As a taxpayer who foots the bill for research and health policy in America, you deserve to know that many of the common notions you have been told about food, health and disease are wrong.”

BP captures 6,000 barrels of oil from leaking well
As engineers monitor the oil flow through a containment cap, wildlife rescue efforts are stepped up in Louisiana.

Reporting from New Orleans and Los Angeles — Efforts to contain the flood of oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico showed signs of progress as a cap placed atop BP's blown-out well managed to capture 6,000 barrels of oil in its first 24 hours, officials announced Saturday.
No one knows exactly how much is still spewing from the well, although estimates by a government task force before the well was capped ranged between 12,000 and 25,000 barrels of oil daily.
The containment cap, the latest in a string of efforts to cope with the massive spill, is funneling oil and gas to a surface ship about a mile above the wellhead.
But engineers are allowing most of the oil to continue escaping through four vents in the cap because the force of the flow could burst the rubber gasket that holds the cap in place.
"They're making sure they don't increase the production rate until it is safe to do so," Coast Guard incident commander Adm. Thad Allen told reporters Saturday. "They're easing the pressure up to the vessel…so they can maintain control of the oil."
On Saturday afternoon, a BP spokesman said the company had no estimate as to when the vents would be closed. "Over the next few days we will be adjusting the cap to work as best as we can," Toby Odone said.
The amount of oil pumped to the surface could be constrained, given that the surface ship can receive only 15,000 barrels daily, Odone acknowledged.
